RTL Visit: Why celebrities Swear by Our Beauty Fridge

A fridge just for creams? For us, this has been everyday life for over 20 years – but for the RTL team that visited us in Cologne, it was a journey of discovery into the world of absolute luxury. The TV report not only shows our 'Made in Germany' production but also reveals the secret of why pop icons like the 'Material Girl' rely on our technology.

How It All Began in Our Kitchen

The RTL report looks back at our roots in 1999. Our founder Jürgen Kraus – a passionate amateur chef – was regularly annoyed back then: perfumes and his wife Ulla's creams were constantly stored between fresh vegetables and fine ingredients. The thought of food tasting like soap or expensive cosmetics smelling like cheese was the trigger.

The idea for a specialized fridge in the bathroom was born. The fact that we gave up our secure jobs in the finance industry and took a high risk shows our passion. As Jürgen tells in the interview: 'There were low points where I thought, I'll throw this out the window' – but persevering was worth it.

RTL asks: Isn't a 50 Euro Fridge Enough?

The report critically questions why one should invest in a biszet when cheap mini-fridges exist. Our answer in the video is clear: It is about the three specialized climate zones that a normal fridge cannot offer:

  • The Vitamin Zone (4–6°C): At the bottom, we store vitamin-containing products that are extremely heat-sensitive.
  • The Preservative-Free Zone (9–10°C): The middle is perfect for natural cosmetics to inhibit bacterial growth without harsh chemicals.
  • The Collagen Zone (12°C): At the top, there is space for products that would lose their consistency if it were too cold.

RTL summarizes: Anyone who wants to follow the recommendations of pharmacists and dermatologists needs this precise cooling. (Why bacteria explode at 20 degrees is explained in detail by Dr. Stockebrand here).

When 'The Material Girl' Calls

Discretion is our top priority, which is why we rarely speak about our customers. But we gave the RTL team a small glimpse into our order books. Of course, no world star calls personally – that happens through managers and architects.

But the hints are often clear: When an architect orders a device for 'The Material Girl', we know who it involves. Inquiries for a 'Princess from the Orient' or projects for mega-yachts are also part of our business.

Our Conclusion

Whether at the Cheval Blanc in Paris, the Ritz-Carlton Berlin, or in your home: The RTL report confirms that the biszet b7 is far more than a luxury object. It is a 'tabernacle of beauty' that combines effectiveness and design.
